We engage the following services at Inle Horse Club Nyaung Shwe.
Visit Lwe Kin Village by Horseback
This 1-hour scenic horse ride starts out from Inle Horse Club and meanders through local plantations. On your horsey adventure you will trot by the traditional farming methods of the Shan people. The horses take the local tracks through the Shan foothills to Lwe Kin village. Here you will discover how local villagers create traditional cheroots from locally grown tobacco leaves. After a short stop in the village we return at a leisurely pace to Inle Horse Club.
Trek to Red Mountain Winery
Trek to Red Mountain winery, a round trip from Inle Horse Club. Join us on a two-hour excursion to the local Red Mountain winery, where you will pass through fields full of dragon fruit, sugar cane, sunflowers and corn. This thirty-minutes horse ride to the winery provides amazing scenic views over the Inle Lake. You can spend twenty-minutes at Red Mountain vineyards, where you can enjoy local food and a spectacular view from their restaurant. Wine tasting is on offer for those who would like to try Myanmar wine. From the winery we then have a thirty-minute ride back to the Inle Horse Club through the local plantations.
Cultural Tours
We also run treks and carriage rides to the atmospheric teak Shan Palace cultural museum and local pagodas. You can trek to places where you can experience daily life around Inle Lake such as the market and the picturesque fishing villages of Nan The, Taung Myoe and See Sone. Horse Carriage rides are perfect for anyone who whats to travel at a slower pace of life, to take in all the sights and sounds of Inle Lake.
Camping
We offer camping for students involving overnight stays away from home in a tent to get experience the world beyond the classroom & indulge in some great learning & exploration – the opportunity to live through cultures & lifestyles, try out some never-having-done-before activities, often developing bonds for a lifetime.
Venue Hire
Inle Horse Club provides the perfect venue for group parties and special events. Our scenic location, large veranda cafe, and Inle Lake vista creates a divine backdrop for your wedding, family reunion, friends gathering or other special celebrations.
Explore Inle Lake by Horse
Visit us at the Inle Horse Club for an equestrian adventure exploring the Inle Lake region. You can experience the areas natural beauty and cultural attractions from horseback or horse drawn carriage. Our six-acre Inle Horse Club plays host to twelve friendly horses in an idyllic setting of dragon fruit trees, wild flowers and a small, shimmering-blue lake.
